What is Family Yoga?

This is a class that brings all the members of your family together in the practice of yoga.

These classes explore the dimensions of yoga through breath, body movement and imagination with the ones you love. It is a class that will help each member of the family become more centred and calm, while increasing strength and flexibility. It also creates a special environment for parents/caregivers to bond with their children.

What is a class like?

Traditional yoga techniques have been recreated in playful, simple and fun ways. Bringing parents, kids or even grandparents together using group games and partner poses. Enabling our children to feel empowered and giving adults quality time to grow and play with their family.

It is an informal and lively session that is aimed at kids having fun and adults finding their inner child. There are no expectations for your child/children to behave in a certain way. We welcome kids and adults alike just the way they are.

What will family yoga do for us ?

Family yoga classes help all the family to:

  • Develop strong, limber and healthy bodies
  • Relax and sleep better
  • Cope with life stressors more effectively
  • Set a lifelong foundation for well-being
  • Take time for themselves and their loved ones
  • Most importantly have fun together while allowing our littlest ones to discover a sense of awareness and respect for themselves, for others and the world around them.

When can we start?

All classes are for children aged 3 and up with an adult. No previous yoga experience necessary. See schedule current classes.
